Concerns regarding China’s potential biological weapons development have intensified following the global health crisis of 2020. Some even went so far as to say that the communist country was responsible for causing the virus. Worries regarding the country’s actions have increased recently.
An purported biological weapons program in Beijing was discussed by Gordon G. Chang, author of “The Coming Collapse of China,” on Newsmax on December 22. In response to a report from the CCP Biothreats Initiative, the author discussed the potential on the “Carl Higbie FRONTLINE” program.
There have been rumors that the People’s Liberation Army is planning to use bioweapons, brain-computer interfaces, and artificial intelligence (AI) in their military operations. Reportedly, the Chinese government is aiming to develop methods of defeating adversaries that do not involve conventional weaponry. It has been suggested that biological weapons can disrupt opposing soldiers’ sleep cycles, making it more difficult for them to remain vigilant.
According to reports, China is also developing pharmaceuticals with the potential to alter human genetics and physiology. They wish they could influence their own cognitive and behavioral characteristics.
According to Chang, there is no way to stop China from creating biological weapons as the country isn’t a member of the Biological Weapons Convention, unlike the United States and other countries. In addition to other weapons, he noted that the concept of genetic pharmaceuticals would undoubtedly be considered a bioweapon. China, he said, might be to blame for the pandemic, and he urged the United States to confront it over the program.
America First Policy Institute Center for American Security Vice Chairman Fred Fleitz also appeared on the program and accused China of developing “drugs to take over the minds of enemy soldiers.” He said it would be a violation of the Biological Weapons Convention.
On multiple occasions, former president Trump claimed that China had released the virus as a biological weapon. The report has gone unremarked upon by President Joe Biden.
