American Tourist in Cancun Kidnapped

When he was attacked by a guy with a machete and left for dead on the side of the road, an American tourist narrowly avoided death.

A machete’s blade repeatedly hit Dustan Jackson, a resident of Utah, severing his foot and wreaking havoc on his shoulder.

He went on vacation in Cancun and is hoping to make a documentary-style movie to warn his fellow Americans about the risks of crossing the border.

Jackson made the decision to look for a shop that offered chewing tobacco when he and his wife were in Cancun. He called a cab and instructed the driver to take him to any business that sold tobacco items because he didn’t know the neighborhood well enough to discover any on his own.

According to Jackson, the taxi driver and a group of his compatriots abducted the American tourist and left him for dead.

Jackson was ambushed as soon as he got out of the car and was rendered unconscious before he could respond.

Jackson described the incident to Fox News, saying, “I get out and I’m like, okay, as I’m walking in the book, lights out.” “I find myself suddenly waking up in a ditch.

Jackson claims that it took him at least two days of lying in the same ditch as his attackers before he had the strength to start pleading with the locals for assistance.

Jackson was transported to the airport by a policeman while receiving first aid en route. He asked passersby for assistance once again at the airport, but most refused until a woman from Africa, whose flight had been canceled, helped him.

Jackson is now recuperating at a hospital in the United States following shoulder and foot reconstruction surgery. Regarding the long-term impact of the assault on his body, Jackson had the following to say.
