Biden Jokes About His Annual Physical – Do You Think I Need It?

On Thursday, a reporter jokingly inquired about when President Biden will have his annual physical.

“What, do you think I need it?,” the 80-year-old president and commander in chief replied.

In response, Biden said that a portion of his physical had already been finished outside the Nantucket Fire Department in Massachusetts, where he had met with first responders on Thanksgiving.

“I’ve gotten my — I will get — part of my physical is already done, and I’ll be getting it before the end of the year,” Biden stated.

On his birthday last Sunday, the president made history by becoming the first head of state to turn 80 while in office.

Biden is allegedly debating whether to run for reelection in 2024 with his family and close advisers. He would turn 86 at the conclusion of his second term if he is elected.

This week, questions over the president’s health were directed at White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre.

“So the president is in good health and maintains an active lifestyle. That is from the doctor. He shared that with me. He will have a physical in the upcoming months, and the results will be released in the same way that it was last year.”

The majority of voters are now concerned about the president’s age and health.

According to a study conducted in October, 64% of Americans, compared to 59% in August, indicated they were worried about Biden’s mental health. More than 50% of Democrats who responded to the study expressed concern about his age, reflecting how the issue resonated on both sides of the political divide.

The president, who is prone to gaffes, has tried to allay these worries, but he has admitted that people are right to be concerned about his age.
