Another round of relief for Ukraine was paid for the US taxpayers.
The United States revealed on Wednesday that it will give Ukraine 31 modern M1 Abrams tanks for $400 million in the next months. It was decided to break a diplomatic deadlock with Germany about how best to support Kyiv in its fight with Russia.
President Biden thanked Germany for deciding to give the Ukraine Leopard 2 tanks, saying, “Germany has really stepped up.”

“It will enhance Ukraine's capacity to defend its territory and achieve its strategic objectives," Biden said.
What about achieving OUR strategic objectives, Mr. President? Like caring about AMERICANS?
Your duty is to OUR flag.
The Abrams tanks, which are regarded as some of the most potent in the American arsenal, won’t be sent right now. It will take months, not weeks, to supply the tanks, according to top administration officials who spoke with reporters. The choice is seen as a long-term strategy to support Ukraine’s military.
The price of a single Abrams tank can vary and, when maintenance and training costs are taken into account, can approach up to $10 million.
Since the start of the Biden Administration, the US has provided Ukraine with security assistance totaling more than $27.4 billion. The United States has given Ukraine security aid totaling more than $29.5 billion since 2014 and more than $26.7 billion since the start of Russia’s unprovoked and barbaric invasion on February 24, 2022.
