President Joe Biden is still dealing with the left’s bombardment of friendly fire, and this time it comes in the form of yet another major media source featuring Democrats dissatisfied with his government.
During Sunday’s “Meet the Press,” NBC anchor Chuck Todd took viewers through a package with irate Democrats, relaying their worries about Biden’s suitability to serve a second term, including his alleged lack of response to the Supreme Court’s Roe v. Wade reversal, his age, and important economic issues.
The package cited by conservative watchdog NewsBusters continues, noting restrictions on the president’s ability to codify abortion rights and worries over the party’s unwillingness to act on other crucial issues Democratic voters continue to emphasize.
Democratic supporter from Ohio Erica Ingram remarked, “Democrats don’t fight hard enough. We’re about to be in a recession, and they’re not even trying to fight to help and Biden, to me, just talks in circles.”
Todd went through a litany of annoyances that contributed to Biden’s declining popularity ratings, citing other events that occurred under his watch, such as the disastrous exit from Afghanistan last year and the failure to contain surging inflation.
Additionally included in the package was Democratic contender for governor of South Carolina Joe Cunningham, who expressed his reservations about President Biden’s elderly age.
Cunningham stated, “If he served out a second term he would be 86 years old. I’m not sure if any of us know any 86-year-olds who should be running the entire country,”
The oldest president in American history is already Biden.
Recent news reports have discussed Democrats’ dissatisfaction with Biden, including serious worries that he hasn’t kept important campaign commitments on topics like climate change and other progressive agenda items.
