Doomsday Mom Smirks After Receiving Multiple Life Sentences

Mothers who murder their children are harshly regarded by society, and for good reason. They are the ones responsible for ensuring that those children are cared for and cherished. Lori Vallow Daybell is one of the heinous individuals who turned off her children’s lights. She will now spend the rest of her life in prison, and she smirked when she found out.

On July 31, a judge sentenced Vallow to five life terms in prison for the deaths of her two children and Tammy Daybell, Chad Daybell’s deceased wife. She will serve three consecutive life sentences. In other words, she will never again be a free woman.

The day after the judge sentenced her, she was put into the Pocatello Women’s Correctional Center, roughly 55 miles south of Idaho Falls. The facility is a high-security jail. When the officials took a new booking photo of her, she smirked.

In May, Vallow was found guilty of the killings. Her children were last seen in September of this year. She traveled to Hawaii with her boyfriend, Chad Daybell, after they went missing, and married in a beach ceremony. Meanwhile, her family was concerned about the children’s location at home. She was arrested after failing to present them when demanded.

Authorities in Idaho discovered the children’s corpses in shallow graves near Chad’s property in June 2020. Tammy Daybell was also murdered. Charles Vallow, the defendant’s ex-husband, was also present. She will stand trial for his murder in Arizona, where he died.

Vallow rambled on about her religious beliefs and claimed to have spoken with the deceased victims during the sentence. The deceased’s loved ones, including Vallow’s oldest son, Ryan, also spoke up. He claims his children will never know “their uncle, aunt, or grandfather” because of her. He predicted that Tylee would never have a profession, children, or marry, and that J.J. would never be able to spread his light.
