Recently re-elected Texas governor Greg Abbott has deployed a fleet of armored personnel carriers to the porous southern border, a move that has been welcomed by Americans who are appalled and frustrated by Joe Biden’s open border madness – a policy that has allowed an estimated five million illegal aliens to enter the country since 2021.
I invoked the Invasion Clauses of the U.S. & Texas Constitutions to fully authorize Texas to take unprecedented measures to defend our state against an invasion.

Reports indicate that additional “security measures” will be used in addition to the ten tanks, such as the use of airplanes to patrol the lengthy border between Texas and Mexico.
These actions follow Governor Abbott’s admission that he used the “Invasion Clause” in the state and federal constitutions.
Abbott listed a number of proposals, including a stronger border wall and the employment of gunboats for security. Overall, he now envisions utilizing tanks, planes, and boats in addition to more people to stop the foreigners’ sovereign invasion of Texas. All of this has transpired in a matter of days.
A new planning document obtained by Army Times and The Texas Tribune reveals Texas Military Department officials are preparing to deploy a fleet of fully tracked armored personnel carriers and National Guard troops, three days after Governor Greg Abbott of Texas invoked the state’s “Invasion Clauses” to address the record-breaking influx of migrants illegally crossing the southern border.
The order was given to the Operation Lone Star headquarters on Thursday by representatives of the Texas Military Department. It included information on the border deployment of ten M113 armored personnel carriers.
The Texas Military Department announced on Friday that air travel and security measures would also be stepped up.
