Trump EXPOSES Dark Money Democrat Megadonor

Donald Trump, a former president, recently exposed a Democratic megadonor who was funding a lawsuit against him covertly. According to court documents, Reid Hoffman, the millionaire behind LinkedIn, has been covertly funding E Jean Carroll’s defamation case against Trump.

Carroll, a magazine columnist, alleged that Trump sexually assaulted her in the 1990s in the dressing room of a high-end Manhattan department store. When Trump labelled her a liar from the White House, she authored a tell-all book to make money and sued him for defamation.

Trump’s avowed nemesis Hoffman has made it his life’s work to bring the president down. Even fellow billionaire and former Trump supporter Peter Thiel felt the effects of his anti-Trump sentiment in their personal friendship.

Alina Habba and Joe Tacopina, Trump’s attorneys, said, “The proposition that Carroll has suddenly ‘recollected’ the source of her funding for this high-profile litigation—which has spanned four years, spawned two separate actions, and been before numerous state, federal, and appellate courts—is not only preposterous, it is demonstrably false. Indeed, it simply defies logic to believe that Carroll’s attorneys—four of whom were present at her deposition—were unaware that their own firm had ‘secured additional funding from a nonprofit organization’ to bankroll their client’s various lawsuits and ensure their bills were being paid.”

Carroll allegedly lied throughout her deposition, according to Trump’s attorneys.

Roberta Kaplan, Carroll’s attorney, remarked, “That Carroll’s counsel was able to obtain financial support almost a year after Carroll commenced litigation against Trump has absolutely no bearing on whether Trump sexually assaulted her in Bergdorf Goodman in the mid-1990s. Funding obtained by counsel is not a proper topic for discovery, let alone a relevant issue at trial.”
