Jack Dorsey is the CEO of Twitter, a social media giant that has over 1.2 billion users. Marjorie Taylor Greene, a Republican lawmaker was suspended for publishing misleading information about the coronavirus.
Greene is a vocal critic of vaccines as well as the use of masks. This is the language that Twitter seems to have banned or censored. Her account is currently in “read-only” mode for 12 hours. Greene reportedly made the comment that coronavirus mask rules were like Nazi Germany’s treatment of Jews. She has since apologized.
More recently, she argued that vaccines should not be required. She added that Covid was not dangerous for people aged under 65 who are not obese. These posts are tagged by Twitter as “misleading”.
