CA Gov Unleashes Unprovoked Attacks Against Florida Gov

California Governor Gavin Newsom has been focusing his attention on Florida Governor Ron DeSantis for reasons that many Americans still find puzzling.

Despite all of California’s problems, which range from problems with the electric system to homelessness, medicine prices, and other issues, Newsom still openly criticizes DeSantis and even runs advertisements in Florida that do so.

Newsom pleaded for a debate with his Florida colleague only earlier this month. Even though the California governor hasn’t won this debate, he has been criticizing DeSantis at every chance.

In a recent appearance on MSNBC, Newsom criticized DeSantis even further.

On MSNBC, the governor of California charged DeSantis with dispatching SWAT squads to people’s houses to register them to vote. Additionally, according to Newsom, the governor of Florida had an elected official detained and traveled to Texas to bring asylum applicants to Martha’s Vineyard.

DeSantis and other Republican governors were referred to as “sick,” and Newsom made it plain that he too sees them as bullies.

Additionally, it was made plain in the interview that Newsom had no objections to erecting different billboards in Florida and Texas. The governor of California believes that the governors of both red states ought to be criticized for their actions.

All of this, however, is coming from the same governor who had no problem locking up his own citizens during COVID, giving orders that he himself disobeyed, and then supporting vaccination laws that made people lose their jobs or become socially isolated.

The accusations of cruelty and inhumanity that Newsom makes against Republican governors are just as easily applied to him and the way he handled COVID.

Some have hypothesized that Newsom’s hostility against his Republican colleagues in other states stems from his own aspirations to run for president. Nevertheless, the governor of California just said that this is not the case.

The 2024 or perhaps the 2028 presidential elections are not something that Newsom plans to run in, he claims.
