Celebrities in Hollywood are obsessed with “defunding police”. They think cops are racist and are “murdering minorities to make a profit”. These words have been amplified and repeated by AOC, the Squad, who repeat these same talking points. It is truly disgusting.
One Hollywood legend takes a different position. Morgan Freeman seems to be the only celebrity who doesn’t want total anarchy on our streets.
“I’m not in the least bit for defunding the police,” Freeman said during an interview with Black Enterprise. “Police work is, aside from all the negativity around it, it is very necessary for us to have them, and most of them are guys that are doing their job. They’re going about their day-to-day jobs. There are some police the never pulled their guns except in rage, that sort of thing. I don’t know.”

If you haven’t noticed, there is a new SuperCut that features Democrats promising to defund the police for seven straight minutes.
Some left-leaning people will argue that “Defund the Police” does not mean to “actually defund the police.” But, listen to the Black Lives Matter protesters last year in this video.
The video’s woman clearly states that she doesn’t want any police officers. The crowd cheers her on.

Let’s all pray that Freeman is not fired for his position on this matter. Left-leaning activists hate our police officers with fervor and will do whatever it takes to ruin their image.
