On Saturday night, individuals demonstrating their support for the Palestinian cause defaced a perimeter fence at the White House by splashing it with red paint. According to a report from the New York Post, some of these protesters were seen vigorously shaking the gate leading to one of the entrances to the presidential residence, with a few among them chanting derogatory phrases aimed at President Joe Biden, “F–k Joe Biden.”
As the night progressed, some of the demonstrators were observed making attempts to ascend the ornate wrought-iron gates surrounding the White House.
Subsequently, as the evening unfolded, the protesters were witnessed making efforts to scale the wrought-iron barriers enclosing the White House. Additionally, reports from social media posts indicate that these demonstrators defaced the General Marquis de Lafayette Statue in the nearby Lafayette Park with graffiti and unfurled Palestinian flags.
The demonstrators were expressing their opposition to the Biden administration’s backing of Israel during the conflict with Hamas. Some of those gathered outside the White House could be heard chanting, “F–k Joe Biden.”
A video shared by the Daily Caller depicted a protester, who was brandishing a Palestinian flag, partially ascending the fence surrounding the White House.
“Demonstrators are beginning to disperse from the area and the attempted gate trespass from earlier was handled without incident by Secret Service Uniformed Division officers and support teams. As of now, no arrests have been made by Secret Service personnel,” as conveyed by Anthony Guglielmi, who serves as the Chief of Communications for the Secret Service.
Ron Halber, the Executive Director of the Jewish Community Relations Group, remarked that the demonstrators are fervently endorsing a terrorist organization responsible for the deliberate killing of 1,400 Israelis and the abduction of numerous civilians, including some from our own nation. He characterized them as profoundly misinformed and driven by reactionary impulses, suggesting that history will ultimately assess their position as aligning with terrorists rather than a democracy striving to protect itself.
