Republican Nancy Mace Fires Back At VP Harris Attack On Texas Gov

Rep. Nancy Mace, a Republican from South Carolina, appeared on “Fox & Friends First” on Monday to refute Vice President Kamala Harris’ criticism of Texas Governor Greg Abbott, calling him a “so-called leader” who is concentrating on political assaults rather than border crisis solutions.

According to Mace, Harris is criticizing authorities like Abbott for having workable measures.

“Every American, regardless of whether they live near the southern border, I believe, would like to know why Vice President Kamala Harris does not have a solution for it.”

Rep. Jodey Arrington of Texas is supporting efforts by state authorities in his state to handle the migrant problem on their own, alleging that President Biden gave over authority of the border and characterizing the situation as an intrusion.

Following a flurry of border-related actions in Texas, Arrington addressed. Several counties made the declaration on Tuesday, urging Gov. Greg Abbott to follow suit. They said that doing so would give the state additional authority to return illegal immigrants to Mexico.

Abbott issued an executive order on Thursday enabling the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) and Texas National Guard to detain and send back illegal aliens who have crossed the southern border between ports of entry. The directive states that illegal immigrants would be brought to the US but not to Mexico.

Despite unlawful crossings and fentanyl entering the country, according to Mace, the Biden administration has done nothing about the border situation. She continued by saying that one of the main reasons that would help Republicans win the midterm elections is the border situation.
