Canada PM Catches Covid 4 Days After Biden Meeting

Just four days after meeting with President Joe Biden at the Summit of the Americas in Los Angeles, California, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau disclosed that he had tested positive for coronavirus.

“I’ve tested positive for COVID-19. I’ll be following public health guidelines and isolating. I feel okay, but that’s because I got my shots. So, if you haven’t, get vaccinated – and if you can, get boosted. Let’s protect our healthcare system, each other, and ourselves,” Trudeau expressed himself on Twitter on Monday.

The news comes only days after Trudeau met with Biden at the Los Angeles Convention Center for the 9th Summit of the Americas.

On June 8, the two were pictured shaking hands while their respective significant others smiled. On June 9, the two sat for another picture session together, and on June 10, Trudeau stood inches apart from Biden for a family portrait with other international leaders.

Despite being double-vaccinated and boosted, Trudeau, 50, tested positive.

When truckers from the Freedom Convoy initially appeared at Parliament Hill in Ottawa in January to protest vaccination requirements and other COVID-19-related restrictions, he was chastised for declaring that he had tested positive and was isolating himself.

On March 30, Biden, 79, had his second COVID-19 booster shot, making him four times immunized against the virus.

According to the United States, the Ninth Summit of the Americas was held in Los Angeles from June 6 to 10, with the theme “Building a Sustainable, Resilient, and Equitable Future” for our hemisphere. The State Department. The United States hosted the summit for the first time since the first gathering in Miami in 1994.
